Win Your Five-Year Challenge: How We Grew from $20M to $60M

Understanding the Framework for Success
With the right approach, you can conquer any challenge that comes your way. Over the last five years, we managed to triple our sales using a structured method known as Toyota Kata. This system was instrumental for Toyota as they became the largest car manufacturer globally, thanks to their long-term commitment to success.
Setting Long-Term Goals
A significant challenge is essentially a deeply desired outcome that you can envision but aren't sure how to achieve. It necessitates a fundamental transformation in your habits, leading to personal growth. You must engage your imagination to visualize who you will become in the future.
For our journey, we aimed to reach a revenue of $60 million by the end of 2021.
Identifying Immediate Objectives
These objectives are targets to achieve within a time frame of 2 to 6 weeks, guiding you toward your larger challenge. It’s important to have a clear vision of how to attain these goals and what improvements need to be made.
Our initial step was to prepare sales pitches for three potential clients, each valued at $2 million, to be executed in the coming month.
Overcoming Challenges
Growth isn’t a straightforward journey; rather, it’s filled with obstacles that need to be navigated. Compile a list of barriers that stand in the way of achieving your immediate goals, and plan experiments to tackle these challenges.
For us, the first hurdle was identifying new potential clients.
The brilliance of Toyota Kata lies in its ability to break down a significant, ambitious challenge into manageable steps, allowing you to tackle it one piece at a time.
