Embracing Passion: A Stoic Approach to Business Success

Chapter 1: The Power of Following Your Passion
In the realm of Stoicism, there's a clear message: relying solely on conventional business advice may actually impede your growth and fulfillment.
Leave 50 claps for the bravest woman I know! :)
Recently, I encountered an incredible business opportunity, and guess what? It came at no cost! Or perhaps I should admit that luck played a role, as it came from my fiancée, Aurora {AuraEcho}, an accomplished copywriter, polyglot, and translator.
Aurora recently realized that her true passion lies not in mental health coaching but in language learning and translation. This revelation led her to suggest that I take my work into the Spanish-speaking market!
Why would someone shift from a lucrative career in mental health?
Isn't it both a rewarding and profitable field? How could one have a more profound impact than assisting others in overcoming challenges like depression, anxiety, and C-PTSD?
These were the questions Aurora wrestled with. Despite her dedication to life coaching, she often struggled to find peace at night.
Stoic Philosophy: A Guide to Personal Fulfillment
As Marcus Aurelius wisely stated, "Seek what aligns with your true nature and pursue it, even if it brings no accolades."
For Aurora, language-related professions—teaching, translation, proofreading—might seem irrelevant to some business experts, but they resonate deeply with her. Engaging with languages brings her joy, sparks her interest, and instills a sense of confidence and worth.
Business coaches may express concern about her choice, especially with predictions of AI encroaching on translation jobs. However, this doesn't faze her. She understands that to reach her fullest potential, she must follow her unique calling.
As Marcus Aurelius noted, the pain of fulfilling one’s natural role is not contrary to nature, as long as each part performs its designated task.
Why, then, would she continue to support clients dealing with mental health issues if it compromises her happiness?
The answer is straightforward:
Should everyone strive to become a doctor just because they can save lives?
Every individual has a distinct role in the universe. We must embrace our own path, resist the temptation to emulate others simply because their position appears more glamorous, and pursue our passions in spite of criticism.
Expanding Horizons: A New Chapter
This philosophical journey brings me to an exciting announcement: I am officially entering the Spanish-speaking market!
I could not have accomplished this alone—my Spanish skills are quite basic. Aurora took the initiative to translate all my work into Spanish, expanding my reach to over 550 MILLION Spanish speakers!
The potential is staggering, and I am thrilled to see how this venture will shape my business trajectory.
Follow my journey on my Spanish account, Jaka Juvan Español, as I embrace this incredible opportunity!
And if you're interested in reaching the Spanish-speaking audience yourself, reach out to my fiancée, and she will guide you through the process.
